Sue Rudge is a graphic design professional based in the pictureque Tweed valley, just a stone's throw from Scotland.

Biography

Having grown up a small holding in Herefordshire, I broke the agricultural mould as my love of design led me to study Typography & Graphic Communication at the University of Reading. In 1997 I graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) and went on to gain some memorable experience with Ken Garland & Associates in Camden Town, London.

Employment thereafter took me to a regional newspaper before working for a design consultancy in Cirencester and then a magazine publisher whilst living on a trout farm in the Cotswolds.

In 2002 I moved to north Northumberland and prepared to commute to the city. Instead I landed a job as a Design Manager working on an entrepreneurial booking system which began life as FishTweed. Eight years later I went self-employed to benefit from the flexibility that offered my family situation.

Personal Interests

I have two children and enjoy walking, fly fishing, mountain biking, camping, traveling, growing produce and visiting exhibitions/galleries. I am a trustee of a local charity and committee member for Etal Show.
